A seasoned performance artist and educator, Bettie Jane Bibler has been entertaining audiences throughout central Iowa for over three decades with lively storytelling performances of multicultural folk tales, trickster tales, ghost stories, and original tales of truth and fantasy. She has shared her craft with thousands of students as a Teaching Artist for the Iowa Arts Council and the Metro Arts Alliance, as well as through adult education classes, workshops, and cultural arts programs.
Bettie Jane designs interactive storytelling programs for any type of audience or event and has been featured at festivals, community celebrations, corporate functions, schools, liibraries, historical sites, and private events.
She holds a Master's Degree in Education and is a founding member of central Iowa's Two Rivers Story Spinners and a former Iowa Liaison for the National Storytelling Network.
